Maverick County Sheriff's Office (PRESS RELEASE) - On Saturday 4-20-2013 at 1:00 pm, Officers responded to a Motor Vehicle Accident on Hwy 277 north just passing Deer Run Blvd. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with driver Juan Leopaldo Leandro who advised that he lost control to his vehicle (2001 Nissan Sentra) and veered right.
Driver stated that he was having problems with his vehicle's front tires (Axle Area) which caused him to go off the road.
Driver struck several trash piles damaging the front center of his vehicle. Due to the impact of the trash, a wooden board was tossed and struck a parked truck (2003 Chevrolet Pickup).
